DIANE HAYNES

Diane Haynes, M.Ed., is the State Coordinator for the Kentucky Deaf-Blind Project. She has been with the project for 20 years. She is also adjunct faculty at the University of Kentucky, Department of Special Education and Rehabilitation Counseling. She currently serves as a member of the TREDS Project Advisory Board, Tennessee Deaf-Blind Project at Vanderbilt University. She has served as a Commissioner for the Kentucky Commission on the Deaf and Hard of Hearing and as co-chair of the National Technical Assistance Consortium for Children and Young Adults Who Are Deaf-Blind advisory board. She has been in the field of education for 30 years and is the co-author of Reach for the Stars, published by the American Printing House for the Blind.
