Shaida and her sister Ashley arrived here at Hope for Tomorrow in December of 2014. As they adjust to living with us, we fall more in love with these precious girls. They were taken out of a bad home situation with a young mother and placed with us, where they have transformed from timid, fearful children into delightful, loving children who love to make new friends. Their smiles, giggles, and darling personalities enrich our home, and all the other children love to give their chubby little cheeks lots of kisses.
Shaida loves to learn and explore. She is a full on toddler whose hobbies are to squirm, wiggle, and move. Quick to use her imagination, Shaida often invites you into her world of make-believe, where anything can become a telephone and, of course, there is always lots of pretend food to cook and eat. Once Shaida overcomes her shyness with new people, she never fails to find a game to play with her new friend, whether its cuddling and reading a book, singing songs, building blocks, or simply walking around exploring. Shaida loves to play with all the other children at Hope for Tomorrow and she does her best to catch up to all the older kids. She also loves to play with her baby sister Ashley, and gets very worried whenever Ashley cries. Altogether, Shaida has a lot of compassion for such a little girl and she shows it often. She loves to play, make noise and run, but also loves to cuddle and listen to stories. We are so blessed to have her in our home!
