From Hope for Tomorrow

Recently Juan Jose had a sudden mental health emergency. This episode was of a kind we have not seen before. He became violent and was not himself. We quickly took him to receive treatment and we were told something we were coming to realize on our own. We were dealing with something beyond our capacity.

During this time we have been making some really difficult decisions about his care. This has meant taking him to the best private psychiatric hospital, finding care for when he is released, and making sure he will always have his new medication. As you can imagine, the costs are adding up. We have been able to manage thus far but are asking for help to offset these ever growing costs. If you can help us, please consider!
