From Kendall

Since the start of Hope for Literacy (Hope for Tomorrow's program aimed at placing high-quality early literacy materials and expertise in the classrooms of preschool programs across Guatemala City), we have committed to providing professional development opportunities to our cohorts of preschool teachers.

Last year (pictured below), we hosted ~250 teachers and were able to give sessions on everything from "How to Organize your Classroom" to "ADHD/Autism in the Preschool Setting." Each year our teachers ask us for more training, more books, and more opportunities to provide the best education for their students.

This year, we are raising funds to pay for this conference and for the next few book packages for our second cohort (75 more teachers). We are so thankful for the opportunity to share some of our expertise with these incredible teachers, all for the service of young Guatemalans.
